The lives of Chinese women in today’s modern society have undergone dramatic changes due to recent King Dynasty reforms, changes of the Chinese Nationalist period, the introduction of socialism in China, and the gradual rise of the People’s Republic of China into the world stage. In fact, these changes have become so rapid that many people have mistaken the modern Chinese woman for an antebellum plantation girl.
Certainly the Chinese people have always known their beauty and their subservient character but it is just that over the past few decades they have grown more fashionable. For this very reason women from all walks of life are flocking to China in ever-greater numbers.
There is one basic reason why many young Chinese women are now interested in getting married and having at least one child of their own. This is because of recent changes in the Chinese Family code. The mid-century changes to family planning and the two-child policy have brought about the phenomenal rise in the number of children allowed within a family. This has meant that the two incomes of a working couple are no longer enough to support a large family. Even rich Chinese women are finding it difficult to support three children.

All over the world, especially in the United States and other Western countries, Chinese women are now struggling to raise a family on their own. Couples who had one child or none are now forced to have two. The result is a huge rise in the number of teenage pregnancies in China.
One reason as to why the birth rates are now so high in China is the fact that there are no more birth control methods available to Chinese women. The entire family of the family is under the age of thirty. This means that there is no longer any opportunity to learn the family planning methods of old. Many Chinese girls still prefer to have a child first before they get married.
The high birth rate among Chinese women may be caused by the one-child policy introduced by the communist government. Prior to this policy, all births were banned. Even when a girl was born outside of marriage, all costs associated with pregnancy were paid by the family. The one-child policy may have made many mothers choose to have babies outside of marriage. With this increase in the birth rate, China’s population growth rate has also increased.
Because of this issue and the increasing number of young women having babies, China’s economy has suffered. There are now millions of empty homes, apartments, and small business establishments all over the country. The one-child policy has made it difficult for families to continue expanding their businesses. These issues have prompted the Chinese government to increase the number of loans and credits available through the Chinese social media system.
To encourage women to continue having children, China’s State Council has issued a set of guidelines:
- they have announced that women will be encouraged to bear at least two babies
- they have announced that all women over twenty-five years old will be required to give birth to at least three children.
- all women who are eligible for social security will be required to have at least three children.
This encourages young women to have more than one child.
The state media has also issued multiple statements encouraging women to continue having babies. On November 14th, China Daily reported that the number of Chinese women having babies is on the rise. The state media claimed that the three-Child Policy is a “means for national development.” Although some might view this policy as a means for the Chinese government to keep control over the population, others see this as a way for China to reduce its dependency on outside help. Regardless of what you might view the three-Child Policy, it is evident that China views its three children as a beneficial investment.
Dating Chinese Women
While the vast majority of dating studies have utilized Western samples, this new study looks at dating patterns among young Chinese adults. Its findings demonstrate that Chinese men and women have very different attitudes toward love and dating. Men seem to value beauty and intelligence while women are more pragmatic. While men may be more open to the idea of dating outside of their families, women still adhere to traditional gender roles. Here are a few things to remember when dating Chinese women.
Make sure you both look good
Despite the fact that Chinese women are known for their fair skin and neat appearance, they still like men with clean clothes and a good appearance. Always make sure you’re clean before meeting a Chinese woman. Always make an effort to arrive at the meeting location at least five minutes early. Be sure you’re dressed appropriately, and never be late. For the best results, try to avoid going out with a woman who is late.
Respect for authority
While it is important to be respectful of all people, Chinese women also tend to place a high value on their education. While men and women should be equal in every way, it’s more important to respect authority. Respect is one of the keys to a healthy, fulfilling relationship. Chinese women’s social and political power is closely related to their education. Women have been held accountable to their parents for their behavior, and the status of men is determined by the number of heirs.
While the importance of a partner’s status may be underestimated, Chinese women are largely supportive of their husbands and families. Chinese women spend the majority of their day romanticizing, and often give gifts or texts to their partners without any occasion. And they are more likely to text their partners in the morning than men. This shows a woman’s devotion to her man. And when they want to make a relationship work, she surrounds her partner with passion.
